June Furniture Painting Class
Saturday June 27th & Sunday June 28th
Join us for a hands-on 2-day furniture painting class taught by Gifty Girl Kimberly Hess.
Bring your own small furniture piece, such as a side table, nightstand, chair, small chest of drawers, or similar-sized piece, and learn how to take it from cleaning, prep, and minor repair through paint, finish, and decorative detail.
In class, you’ll learn how to use Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint and explore finish options like smooth classic paint, distressed finishes, crackle effects, transfers, decoupage paper, wax, moulds, and other decorative techniques. You’ll work on your own project while also learning tips and tricks from the other pieces being completed in class.
Participants will need to pre-register, bring their furniture piece, wear paint clothes, and purchase their chosen 16oz paint and decorative product like a transfer, mould or decoupage paper from Two Gifty Girls before class so everything is ready to go when you arrive.
Lunch is included both Saturday and Sunday.
Not sure what piece to bring or which supplies to choose? We’re happy to help you pick your paint color, transfer, decoupage paper, wax, moulds, or finishing products in advance.
